Tined weeder SMS Lanio

The universal tined weeder Lanio is a suitable equipment for both grassland and field applications. For light soils can be machine equiped by 6mm tines. Standard 7mm tines for common type of soils can be replaced by 8mm tines, that can be used either on grasslands or in heavy soils.  6 tine rows in 25 mm interrow distance have got the most impact on whole cultivation process.  

Flexible tines get into the dry surface and interrupt the hard top layer. It ensrures acces of the air to the roots and especially water capilarity discontinutation, so water remains in the soil. Despite the water remaining the most important purpose of the machine is weeding. Very agressive shape of the tines pull weed up to the surface where it gets dry. Key factor in weeding efficiency  is time of intervention as the weed must be in initial growth stage. 

While grassland applications the tines get moss and old grass off the lawn. Moss elimination facilitates growing of the grass. Machine can be used together with the seeding machine for additional grass seeding or fertilising.
